Head of Technology, Global Retirement & Workplace Solutions

Ann is a senior technology leader and business strategist with 17+ years of experience in various industries. She is adept in implementing solutions aligned with technology and business growth strategies enabling digital and mobile presence. Ann’s intensive software career includes software engineering, team motivation, change management, mentoring, leadership collaboration, facilitating business performance and results in distribution, tech services, financial, fintech, and insurance industries.
Ann has a Computer Science and Mathematics Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She had many different roles from production support associate, software engineer, technology consultant, solution architect, and everywhere in between. Ann currently heads teams for global retirement and workplace solutions as Head of Technology at Morningstar.
She is also Director of Women Who Code Chicago Network and has passion for advocating and elevating women technologist while leading the conversation on plugging the leaky pipeline for girls in STEM.
Ann lives in Chicago’s West Loop with her husband Tony, daughter Charlotte, and dog Misa.
