Sanjana has lived in northern Virginia most of her life. She attended the College of William and Mary for two years, before transferring to UIC this fall. She was originally planning on majoring in chemistry and minoring in computer science, before deciding to pursue her major in chemical engineering. She likes how she needs to be well-rounded in various different subjects in order to solve real-world problems as a ChemE. There’s also a lot of flexibility on what path she can take after receiving her undergraduate degree. In her free time, she loves dancing, reading mystery novels, and volunteering for various causes.
